Race registration: 8:00 am
Race start time: 8:30 am

Support your local sexual health centre by participating in one of the best 5km run (2.5km walk or wheel) road races in the city! All proceeds will go toward the delivery of our anti-violence educational workshops. It is our goal to give people the knowledge and skills necessary to live with a healthy sense of self, leading to healthier communities.

Registration and race kit pick up at the St. John’s Running Room,
Saturday August 27, between 12 and 5 pm.

Please join us after the race for lots of refreshments & our Awards Ceremony.

Registration fees:
Individuals: $30
Teams: $150 first 5 members; $10 extra each additional team member

FREE REGISTRATION
with a minimum of donation in pledges
$50 for individuals
$150 for teams of 5
$200 for teams of 6+
Registration fees will be reimbursed following the race.

Planned Parenthood offers many sexual health services, ranging from medical clinics to educational workshops. In 2010 – 2011, we:

Provided sexual health medical clinics to over 2,400 patients
Provided sexual health education to over 5,300
Answered over 4,500 calls on our Facts of Life Line
Conducted over 450 pregnancy tests
Filled over 800 prescriptions for medical contraceptives
Provided reproductive health services training to nurses, medical students, teachers, and other professionals
Provided sexual health training to youth living in all areas of the province
Worked collaboratively with other community based and government organizations.
