Is it wrong for a dude to want ass play?
Absolutely not. Any person can enjoy and desire anal play! Don’t worry, have fun!
Dear Our Pleasure,
I don’t ever get turned on. Is there anything wrong with me?
Some people have different libidos. Sometimes a person needs to be touched in order to be turned on. The desire isn’t just “there”.
If, however, you have suddenly lost all desire, or if you feel this may be a medical problem, check with your doctor. Because we are not medical professionals, there is not always a good way for us to answer this type of question. We know that people have varying sexual desires, but we are unsure why you, in particular, may be suffering from this. Your best bet is to check with your doctor and get their opinion. Sorry we couldn’t be of more help!
HI Our Pleasure
I have a super embarrassing problem and I don’t know what to do. I think my vagina is ugly. The labia are long and a different colour. I just don’t think I have a pretty vagina and it makes me not want to have sex with anyone. Does anyone around here do surgery for this?
Check of The Beauty Of Vaginas on tumblr. This blog is full of non sexual images of Vulvas. All shapes and sizes and colours.
Vulvas do not need to be pretty but they are always beautiful! Long labia, short labia, pink labia, brown labia…whatever. You do not need to look a certain way. Please do not get surgery.
Because the only other vulva that most of us see are those in porn, we are led to believe that we all must look the same. That’s untrue. We hope that you take a look through that blog and check out all the different textures and colours. Check out the shaved and the unshaven and the partly shaven. The fat and the skinny. Appreciate all the differences and learn to appreciate your own uniqueness!
I check my bfs underwear for cum every day to make sure he’s not with other women. If there’s none there how do I know for sure? I don’t trust im one bit.
We suggest you talk to your partner about your fears/worries. If you feel you have reasons not to trust your partner, you may want to think about having an honest discussion with him, attempting counseling together or even ending the relationship. Trust is essential in any relationship and without it, most couples tend to break up. Good luck!
You got any flesh lites?
We do! :)
A question about lubes. I am just wondering how do you know which lube goes best with each toy (each toy is made of different materials), or your partner? Can different lubes damage toys or break them down? Also could you tell me about lubes in general? Which ones stain the sheets as well which ones don’t?
If you’re shopping in our stores, you can always ask a staff member and they would be more than happy to tell you about the materials the toy you are purchasing is made of and which lubricant would work the best with it, If you are not comfortable asking a staff member or if you’re going to be shopping online, there are a few things to keep in mind.
Water based lubricant is our most popular choice and for a good reason…it can be used with ANY toy! Some water based options may irritate those who are sensitive but there are hypoallergenic versions available. Check the labels as it will always be listed if a product is hypoallergenic or not. Water based lubricant also has a more natural feeling and will need to reapplied periodically if you’re engaged in a longer play session.
Silicone lubricant is awesome for those who are sensitive as the product cannot be absorbed into your skin which means you cannot have an irritation towards it. Silicone lubricant is always hypoallergenic. The reason silicone lube isn’t our number one is because it cannot be used with toys that are made of silicone or those made of ur3 or soft skin or any ultra-realistic material. Silicone is also super slippery and never needs to be reapplied. But be careful! Don’t use too much or you’ll be slipping all over the place! A little dab will do ya!
Then there is the silicone-water based blend. These feel so nice as they are the perfect blend of extra slippery and natural feeling. Some of these can be used with silicone toys, but you have to check the label to make sure. The companies will always advertise if it is safe to use with silicone toys or not.
All in all, we suggest that when in doubt, use a hypoallergenic water based lubricant. It’s safe for your body and all your toys!
**In regards to a recent comment on our blog from a customer concerned with confidentiality/our staff members writing blogs about our customers sex lives.**
The content on this blog is almost solely written by one person (I use the pen name “petey”). Blogs written by other staff members are fairly rare and when it does happen, they are edited and approved by me, the blog manager/content writer.
That being said, Our Pleasure has a very strict confidentiality agreement that each person involved in the company must sign before they start their employment with us. We have a zero tolerance policy if this agreement is broken. The staff member will be fired immediately. If you have been a customer at our stores for any amount of time, or if you know anything about our company, you should know that you have nothing to worry about at all.
Our staff members do not usually have any desire to discuss our customers or what they are purchasing, never mind write a blog about it, so you’re safe!
I’ve personally been with this company for a very long time and have had some truly bizarre experiences but I have never written a blog about any of them although I’m sure it would be extremely amusing to read. We are here to help our customers, not expose them for buying anal toys or crotchless underwear :)
The only time a customer’s business is discussed on this blog is when they send me a question for the weekly Q&A installment. If a customer would like a question answered privately, I have no problem doing so, they just need to make a note and include their email address when commenting. However, I would prefer to answer them on our blog as it may help someone struggling with similar circumstances.
We would never discuss a customer’s personal business on this blog. We promise!
